Over the past 24 years, John Wetzler has served as a prosecutor, defense attorney, investigator, and judicial law clerk. This well-rounded experience, along with his unwavering commitment to client goals, has made him one of the preeminent criminal defense and family law attorneys in Northwest Georgia.
John earned his Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta after completing studies for his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Georgia. While at UGA, John was a member of the Bulldogs’ football team where he learned valuable lessons about working within a team and staying committed to the process of achieving excellence in the face of adversity.
John is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to the Supreme Court of Georgia, Southern and Middle Districts of Georgia’s Federal Courts, and Appeals Court of Georgia.
