Erik Haener represents clients in criminal defense, family law, bankruptcy, and personal injury matters across northern Georgia. Prior to joining The Heller Law Firm, he practiced at a large regional law firm specializing in high-stakes litigation and also completed an internship in the fraud division of the Michigan Attorney General’s Office.
Erik received his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law and Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University. A lifelong leader, he earned his Eagle Scout badge for his dedication, leadership skills, and commitment to serving the community, principles that guide his work on behalf of clients today.
“In addition to providing technically sound representation, clients who trust us with their important legal matters want and deserve a steady and reassuring voice throughout the process of resolving their case. It’s a privilege to provide those things to individuals and families in Georgia, and also very gratifying to see them move past challenging times and onto a brighter future.” – Erik Haener
Erik is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia, American Bar Association, and Georgia Defense Lawyers’ Association. When not practicing law, he enjoys photography, DIY projects, and spending time with his girlfriend and their two dogs.
